S1FF3 David Ury

Continuing our Breaking Bad theme, for this epsiode we are joined by David Ury, best known for his role as Spooge, the meth head crushed by an ATM.

In addition to his memorable turn on Breaking Bad, David is a talented actor, stand up comedian, YouTuber, and Japanese language translation specialist.

David shares with us his favorite obscure album, Camper Van Beethoven‘s 1989 album Key Lime Pie. Key Lime Pie was to be the band’s last album, and featured darker lyrical content than their previous outings. It was their most commercially successful album, with their cover of “Pictures of Matchstick Men” peaking at #1 on Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

David Ury was most recently a regular on AMC’s prematurely canceled Lodge 49, and the movie Birds of Prey. If you haven’t seen David’s dramatic monologues on Twitter, you need to check him out @isthisdavidury.
