Fire up the replicator, and get yourself a hot cup of raktajino for this episode!
For our ninth installment of Famous Folks, we have the honor of talking with the one and only Alexander Siddig (Deep Space Nine, Game of Thrones)! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t geeking out over this interview.
Sid is, of course, best known for his role as Dr. Julian Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. DS9 is arguably one of the best series in the Star Trek universe, and Dr. Bashir is a fan loved favorite to this day.
Sid joins us to discuss one of his favorite obscure alums, the debut release from British neo-prog band Marillion: Script For a Jester’s Tears. The album was released in 1983, and produced two singles: “He Knows You Know” and “Garden Party.”
Our conversation leads into discussing Genesis, one of my all time favorite bands as well as Sid’s.
Much to the delight of his legion of fans, Sid has been keeping himself busy during the pandemic. He has been hosting weekly Zoom sessions with fans for weeks now. You can check those out, along with everything else he’s been up to at Sid City.
Oh, and if you don’t get the joke Aaron makes, here’s the Polaner All Fruit Commercial.
